The Wendy House guesthouse is situated in one of Busan’s prime locations; Gwangalli beach. Bump into fellow travellers, expats and locals while trying Korean cuisine then make your way back to The Wendy House guesthouse for a chatter.
Gwangalli beach also offers an array of water sports for the adrenaline junkie but of course you are more than welcome to just dip your over-travelled crusty big toe in the sea water. The gentle waves of Gwangalli beach and its famous bridge with its light show are only a hop and a skip away from the guesthouse.

The House is centrally located, near great restaurants, coffee shops, convenience stores and a pharmacy. Gwangalli beach and the subway are both a 5-10 minute walk either way. The location is perfect!
Wendy is a friendly and accommodating host, who immediately puts you at ease. Now all I need are my friends to come visit from South Africa, so we can go back!

My first trip to Busan, I stayed here for two nights and had a wonderful experience. Wendy is a wonderful and hospitable host. The Guesthouse is clean, cozy, and comes with a few luxuries that I didn't expect a hostel to have such as air conditioners in each room (a blessing in any muggy Korean summer). The house itself is located around some good restaurants, including a few western style brunch restaurants, and is located close to a few of the foreigner bars like Thursday Party.
I really like the fact that the Gwangalli Beach is not more than a few blocks away around the corner, because while Haeundae is the more popular place to go to in the summer time, it sounded a bit too crowded for someone like me, who likes to enjoy the beach without a huge crowd. It was also nice to have a beach close by that I could just walk to.
I will definitely be coming back to Busan in the future, and I will definitely book my stays with The Wendy Guesthouse again.
